SIP trunking Rate Quotes |
|
SIP trunking is a great
way for companies to simplify and optimize their bandwidth. As a
result, this technology
is quickly emerging as a leading access mechanism for IP-PBXs.
SIP Trunking is based
on mature Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) standards and provides
direct IP peering between
IP networks and an IP-PBX. With SIP Trunking, companies can
double their network
efficiency by replacing higher-cost PRIs. Our service uses compression
techniques that can deliver
up to 50 high-quality voice paths simultaneously over a single T1
connection. Companies
can dynamically allocate this bandwidth among voice, data and Internet
requirements. They can
use a Web-based control panel to revise their service and change
features in real-time
from any computer with Internet access.
Customers who are most
likely to benefit are those who need more than the standard 23 calls
paths of a PRI as well
as customers who want a unified service offering for their multi-location
business. Beyond increasing
network efficiency, SIP Trunking can help boost business productivity
with complementary add-on
services such as Voice Mobility and other IP-enabled products.
Combined with Class of
Service, Session Initiation Protocol offers the same quality as traditional
analog lines or PRI’s,
and it creates opportunities to upgrade to complementary services that
are
difficult, if not impossible,
on a traditional gateway or switch. The options include bundled offerings
of an IP-PBX system along
with monthly service fees for Session Initiation Protocol service, or we
can provide managed service
for a leased IP-PBX along with the standard monthly fee.
One key to a successful
implementation is ensuring the interoperability of our network and your
company’s hardware in
advance. We have begun certifying equipment from leading hardware
vendors, and we recently
announced that AVAYA IP Office solutions are compatible with our network.
We’re also working on
certification of numerous other solutions from leading IP-PBX vendors.
As with VoIP services,
some specific devices are generally incompatible with Session Initiation
Protocol
service. These include
low-speed devices (14.4K or less) such as alarm dialers, credit card machines,
postage
meters and Telecommunications
Devices for the Deaf. These devices should be identified prior to a purchase
so steps can be taken
to avoid a negative experience. Most FAX machines, however, can be serviced.
